The market has run since 2009. Vendors sell fruits and vegetables, baked goods, meat, seafood and dairy, flowers, bath and body products and handmade gifts, and the info tent has kids’ activities each week. It holds its market midweek because many of its vendors sell at weekend markets. The market posts each week’s vendors on Instagram and Facebook on market day. Its site does not say whether vendors accept SNAP or EBT; ask at the info tent.

Produce stands on the Town Square

The town lets up to six permitted growers sell from eight parking spaces on North Rowlett Street, along the south side of Town Square Park, any day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sellers may offer only what they grow or produce themselves: fruit, vegetables, herbs, eggs, honey, flowers, plants, meat, dairy and seafood. The stands are not a town-run event, and they cannot set up during town events on the square, such as the summer concerts. The permit costs $50 a year from the Planning Division.
