The Collierville Town Square: where to eat and shop, the trains and depot, the free Morton Museum, parking tips and the events that fill it all year.

Last checked Oct. 17, 2026. Sources: the Town of Collierville’s Town Square page, places to eat, shopping and dining, things to do and events pages, Main Street Collierville, the Morton Museum and each restaurant’s own website.

The Collierville Town Square is the town’s historic center and its main attraction. The town says Parade Magazine voted it the 2014 Best Main Street in America, and Hallmark filmed scenes for “Wedding at Graceland” there. Around the green and its white gazebo you will find boutiques and specialty shops, 10 places to eat on the town’s dining list, a free history museum, historic trains and a depot, and a log cabin. It fills up for events almost every month of the year.

History you can see

The town’s Town Square page points visitors to the museum, the historic trains and depot, a stagecoach cabin and the story of the 1863 Civil War battle. The red business car was bought by the town and repainted with a Southern Railroad motif, because Southern trains passed through Collierville. The Morton Museum of Collierville History, 196 N. Main St., is always free, Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our history and landmarks guide tells the full story, from the 1850 charter to steam locomotive No. 1351.
