Fireworks at home

Collierville’s town code makes it unlawful to fire or light fireworks on the streets or on open lots near any business or home in the town, and bans selling any fireworks except sparklers, toy pistols, caps and similar items that can be used indoors. Outdoor displays need approval from the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, a state permit and a permit from the Collierville Fire Marshal. Open burning is also banned inside town limits.
