On the Town Square, Square Beans Coffee opens at 7 a.m. six days a week. Most of Collierville’s other early openers are on West Poplar Avenue, from Donut Hutt and Perkins to the Dutch Bros and Starbucks drive-thrus, with Cafe 127 near Houston Levee Road and a second Starbucks on South Houston Levee Road.

We added Cafe 127, Donut Hutt, Dutch Bros, Perkins and the Houston Levee Starbucks, which appear in the Tennessee Department of Health’s restaurant inspection records and whose own sites or chain location pages give Collierville addresses. We left out Levee Coffee & Creamery, whose own site gives a Germantown address, and two doughnut shops with inspection records but no website of their own. The list is alphabetical. The places
Cafe 127 calls itself a family-friendly coffee shop, off Poplar Avenue and Houston Levee Road next to Huey’s. On Sunday it takes party bookings only.
Donut Hutt makes doughnuts, kolaches and cinnamon rolls and serves locally roasted coffee. Its site says it has been in Collierville for 12 years and often sells out of its signature items, so it suggests coming early.
Dutch Bros Coffee is the drive-thru coffee chain. Its West Poplar page lists hours to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and gives the company’s customer line, not a store number.
Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is the family restaurant and bakery chain. Its Collierville location pages list breakfast all day, takeout and delivery, but give two different sets of hours and two phone numbers, so call before you go.
Square Beans Coffee has been on the square since 2008, with handcrafted coffee, fresh pastries, breakfast favorites and Italian gelato, its site says. The town’s dining list mentions its homemade quiche.
Starbucks has two cafes with drive-thrus in Collierville, at Poplar and Market and at Houston Levee and Winchester, according to its store locator. It also runs counters inside the Target on New Byhalia Road and the Kroger stores at 240 New Byhalia Road and 3685 Houston Levee Road.
