Collierville’s Mexican and Tex-Mex places cluster on West Poplar Avenue, where Booya’s, Chapultepec, Chipotle and Taco Bell sit within a mile of each other, with Chili’s just off Poplar on Market Boulevard. On the west side, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Tacos 4 Life are on Houston Levee Road near Winchester Road.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Collierville’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 17, 2026. We added Chapultepec and Chipotle, which appear in the Tennessee Department of Health’s restaurant inspection records and whose own sites give Collierville addresses. Several family-run Mexican restaurants that hold current state inspection records are not on this list because we could not find a website of their own to confirm their address and hours: Casa Mexicana, El Porton, La Hacienda, La Perla Tapatia, Margaritas and Restaurante Mar y Tierra. We left out Frida’s, whose site gives only a Memphis address, and El Mezcal, which we could not confirm at all. The list is alphabetical. The places

Booya’s calls itself a Collierville original. Its menu is built around tacos and burritos with its own taco and burrito sauce, with burgers and wings, and the restaurant has an open-air covered patio.

Chapultepec Mexican Restaurant describes itself as an authentic Mexican restaurant and cantina for family and friends, in a strip on West Poplar Avenue.

Chili’s is the grill and bar chain. Its menu includes fajitas and quesadillas, and the Collierville restaurant is on Market Boulevard by the Poplar Avenue shopping centers.

Chipotle Mexican Grill is the burrito and bowl chain, with a restaurant on West Poplar Avenue.

Moe’s Southwest Grill serves burritos, quesadillas, tacos and nachos built from more than 20 ingredients, with kids’, vegetarian and catering options, and free chips and salsa with every meal, its Collierville page says.

Taco Bell is the fast food chain, with a drive-thru at its West Poplar restaurant.

Tacos 4 Life has been in Collierville since September 2020, its page says. The chain makes craft tacos and says it donates meals to children in need for every meal bought.
