Collierville’s brunch is a weekend affair. On the historic Town Square, Maeve’s Tavern serves brunch both Saturday and Sunday. Out on West Poplar Avenue, South of Beale runs a weekend brunch, and Firebirds at Carriage Crossing opens early on weekends with a brunch menu. For a weekday breakfast on the square, Square Beans Coffee opens at 7 a.m.

Maeve’s Tavern

Maeve’s Tavern is an Irish tavern on the square at 78 N. Main St. It describes its food as elevated tavern classics made with locally sourced ingredients where it can, with handcrafted cocktails, craft beer on tap and a wine list. South of Beale

South of Beale, which also has two Memphis restaurants, is at 1329 W. Poplar Ave. in Collierville. It serves weekend brunch Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu runs from stuffed French toast and birthday cake batter pancakes to huevos rancheros breakfast hash, chicken tinga breakfast tacos, hot honey chicken and waffles, loco moco and steak and eggs, with a brunch drinks list. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Firebirds is at The Shops at Carriage Crossing, 4600 Merchants Park Circle, and opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Its weekend brunch menu includes baked French toast, a brunch burger, a steak and egg bowl, bacon, egg and avocado toast, a grilled salmon Benedict, a hot honey chicken biscuit and a kids’ brunch menu, plus brunch cocktails. Square Beans Coffee

Square Beans Coffee has been on the square at 103 N. Center St. since 2008, with handcrafted coffee, fresh pastries, breakfast favorites and Italian gelato. Open Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; closed Sunday. The town’s dining page also mentions its homemade quiche.
