A Collierville date night usually starts on the Town Square: dinner at David Grisanti’s on Main or Maeve’s Tavern, then a walk around the lit square and its gazebo. Add a show at the town’s Harrell Theatre, a 350-seat house that books national touring acts, or finish with a drink at a bar that stays open late.

Dinner

David Grisanti’s on Main carries on the Grisanti family’s Italian cooking on the square; the town describes it as fine Italian dining with pasta, steak, seafood and specialty cocktails. It takes reservations and is the earliest to close, so book a 6 p.m. table before a later plan.

Maeve’s Tavern is an Irish tavern with elevated tavern classics, handcrafted cocktails, craft beer on tap and what it calls a thoughtfully curated wine list. It is the closest thing to a wine bar on the square; we found no stand-alone wine bar in Collierville.

South of Beale takes reservations through Resy; Firebirds sits at The Shops at Carriage Crossing, so you can pair dinner with a walk around the center.

A show

The town’s Harrell Live series brings national touring acts to the Harrell Theatre, 440 W. Powell Road, with only 350 seats per show. The 2026-27 season runs from August to May, mostly on Thursday nights at 7 p.m. Tickets are sold only through Freshtix; doors open about an hour before curtain, and the seating area about 30 minutes before. The Morton Museum, 196 N. Main St., also holds occasional free evening concerts that need registration; see the town calendar.

After dinner

• Walk the square. The gazebo, depot and historic trains sit at its center; see our Town Square guide.
• Friday bluegrass. From April through October, musicians gather on the square at 6:30 p.m. for a free Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Jam, weather permitting.
• Summer concerts. Main Street’s concerts play the gazebo Thursdays in June and July, 7 to 9 p.m.; bring a blanket.
• Christmas lights. From Nov. 24 to Dec. 31, the town lights the square with more than 250,000 lights and runs evening carriage rides; see holiday lights and Christmas events.

A late drink

• Huey’s Collierville, 2130 Poplar Ave., Suite 101: bar to midnight Friday and Saturday, 11 p.m. other nights.
• Maeve’s Tavern: bar to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10 p.m. other nights.
